Principal's Message
Dear Clawson High School Families,
It is with great honor and pride that I serve as the principal of Clawson High School. My roots are deep in Clawson - with 14 family members who are CHS graduates and a 1996 graduate myself, I am passionate about CHS and dedicated to carry on the traditions and foster a rich learning environment for our students and families.
With over 20 years of experience in education, I started as a substitute teacher at the elementary and secondary level. As an English teacher at CHS, I chaired our writing committee that provided resources to help improve student writing skills as well as implementing English elective courses to pique student interests. I moved into a leadership role and worked as the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director for nine years leading the work to improve policies and practices into the digital world.
In my third year as CHS Principal, it is my privilege to work alongside our dedicated staff and talented students, and I believe we can build on the strengths of our supportive community and achieve our shared goals for Clawson High School. We, at CHS, want to make sure that you are prepared for your future and that your high school experience results in memories that will have meaning for a lifetime.
